IDT 540: Systematic Approaches to Digital Design and Development

In this course, students will learn the basics of usability and usability testing, as well as become familiar with important topics in digital design and development including basic HTML, accessibility/508 compliance, open educational resources, and copyright.

This is a graduate instructional design course that I majorly revised over several years. The Portfolio, Chapter 1, and Chapter 2 assignments are original to the program, but I redeveloped them as scaffolded assignments. (Chapter 1 and 2 are drafts of writing for masters students final project, which comes the next semester). I revised the learning objectives of the course as well.
