Preface
This guide is intended for newcomers to augmented and virtual reality that wish to learn about these technologies and use them in teaching, training, and learning. I teach in a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology program at California State University, Fullerton, which has many students from K-12, higher education, and corporate training backgrounds, so I have endeavored to make this document usable for both educators and trainers. This guide focuses on free and open source websites and apps to allow anyone to get started quickly and easily, and with no coding required.
This work was funded by a Faculty Enhancement and Instructional Development Award from the Faculty Development Center (FDC) at California State University, Fullerton. Thank you, FDC, for your support!
